I have 30 things to do by the time I'm 30 and I have 1826 days to get them all done.

Wow, you’re still here? I thought you would have bailed on this before we even got to day 4. If you think this is exciting so far, wait until I actually start getting this shit done!

Here’s the next five.

11. Go white water rafting- My brother and my dad did this in when my brother was in boy scouts several times, but being a girl, I could never really partake in that. I was a girl scout. We made crafts. Every. Fucking. Week. It was AWFUL. We went camping I think one time and it was in a cabin and we ordered pizza and that was it. So, I was always kind of jealous the boys got to do all the cool stuff. White water rafting is just one of those things I’ve always wanted to do and never had the chance or the money or the time. And now that I do have more funds and weekends off, I’d like to do this one weekend. And I know a lot of my friends love white water rafting, so I hope finding people to join the fun won’t be too hard.

12. Plant my own garden- As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to love to cook. And it’s something I’m pretty good at, depending on who you ask(Nathan always tells me stuff is good, but sometimes I feel like he does because he has to). My neighbor has a garden and she grows the most beautiful vegetables. All kinds of tomatoes and eggplant and peppers and squash and herbs and bunch of other good treats. When she can’t eat it all, sometimes she gives us stuff and then I get to cook up delicious meals. And when she’s gone on vacation, she calls me and I water all her plants. And I think it is so relaxing and rewarding to watch that stuff grow. Even if it’s not mine, I always feel a small sense of accomplishment when I don’t kill her stuff. I just love it and would love to have my own. Even if it’s not as beautiful or large.

13. Make my own wine- I’m no sommelier, but I do love a good cardboardeaux(classy boxed wine). I’ve made my own limoncello before(and I still have a BUNCH of that if anyone ever wants to get drunk off everclear, sugar, and lemon zest), but I don’t…really…like it. And since I drink wine like it’s going out of style, might as well make something useful. I don’t know anyone who’s ever done this and I don’t even really know the process, but I think, I THINK, if I watch that I Love Lucy where she stomps in the grapes a bunch, I might be able to figure it out.

14. Go back to school- So…I still have no idea what I want to do with my life. I have a good job that I don’t love, but gives me a comfortable life and I don’t want to kill myself everyday, which is good. But I would like to go back to school for something. Even if it’s just taking fun, interesting classes, like more literature classes or theology or whatever I want. The other thing I’ve been considering is getting an MBA. I just feel like career wise, that’s a good move. The other thing about going back to school is that my company reimburses you. So it’s basically free money for school and it would be so stupid not to take it. Learning is something I always thought was important and I always had fun in school. I feel like there’s no excuse not to and this is something I’d like to try to tackle sooner rather than later.

15. Rescue a dog- I am not a cat person. Not that I don’t think they are cute and cuddly and sweet…I’m just allergic and they make my eyes itch terribly and I get miserable. Dogs, on the other hand…I can’t get enough. I love all dogs. Except little ugly yippy toy dogs. There are so many puppies that need a good home and when I figure out my “forever” home situation, I’d love to have a doggy friend to share it with. I love Dallas Lease. He’s the sweetest dog in the whole world and even when I leave my parents house, he’ll still be my dog. But wouldn’t he love a little brother or sister dog? I think so.

That’s all I got tonight. I don’t know how tomorrow will go because I have a Halloween party tomorrow evening, so we may not see each other again until Saturday. I know, I’m going to miss you too.
